JOHN MACCALLUM AND
JEAN (JANET) MACLEAN
JOHN
MACCALLUM, the son of Archibald
MacCallum and Kathrine MacViccar,
was christened 10 October 1761 in Kilninver,
Argyllshire, Scotland. He married Jean (or Janet) MacLean
15 March 1791 in Kilbrandon, Argyllshire.
John
worked as a storekeeper in Easdale, Argyllshire.
John and Jean had the following children:
1.Archibald,
christened 23 January 1788 in Kilbrandon.
2.Catherine, christened 15
June 1795 in Kilbrandon.
3.John,
christened 19 February 1794 in Kilbrandon.
