HERE LIETH THE BODY OF JOHN DRAKE OF ASHE ESQ AND AIME HIS WIFE WHO WAS THE DAVGHTER OF SR ROGER GRAYNFEILD KT. BY WHOM HE HAD ISSVE SIX SONES WHERE OF LIVED THREE AT HIS DEATH, VIZ BARNARD ROBERT AND RICHARD. HE DIED THE 4 OCTOBER 1558 AND SHE DIED THE 18TH OF FEBRVARIE 1577
