Individual Note:
     Godfrey and Peter Rudolf remained in Argentina, married, had families, we lost touch with them several years ago. The two produced a total of 12 children.
Conecunda Bierwirt and her husband died in the Russian famine. The Rudolf daughter died at age 10 or 12.
My dad said Grandpa's brother, John, came to Topeka, Kansas, and later went back to Garastina, Russia, to bring back his wife, Katherine Bellinder. Grandpa George got a ride to South America in 1906 in exchange for work there. He earned enough to send for Godfrey and Peter in Russia. They arrived in S. America and stayed there The three brothers earned money working on wheat ranches and cutting timber.. Grandpa George met and married Grandma Anna Beckerle, who was from Kamenka, Russia, and they saved enough to come to Topeka, Kansas, and joined brother, John in 1912.
His immigration card said he was 28 when he and the other three in his family (wife & two sons) arrived on the MAIN May 24, 1912. They were destined for Topeka, Kansas and brother, John Rudolf.
As you can see, our name somehow changed from the "f" ending to the "ph" ending. My dad's First Communion certificate says "Edward Rudolf."
