Corvair Turbo Charged Sand Rail
Hi Jumper III Frame modified to handle the horse power of a Corvair.

Corvair Power!!!!!
1962 Chevrolet Corvair Spyder Motor. This
engine is equipped with a Crower reversing cam
and produces well over 180 horse power.

Aluminum beam front end and rack and pinion steering.
Rear disk brakes. As a matter of fact, the only brakes. No brakes in front.

Corvair connected to a VW box and suspension. The
transmission
was gutted
and all new racing parts were installed.
Right:
Hydraulic Clutch Slave

All joints were ground to perfection by two
gentlemen who are professional hand rail finishers.
They used 4 1/2" electric grinders with 24,
36, 80, and 120 sanding disks.
Entire frame was then sand blasted and painted.
