Samuell Stockwell was born in about 1640 of Dursley, Gloucestershire, England, the son of John Stockwell. He married 1) Elizabeth Parker in April 1664 in Dursley, and must have married again. Samuell was buried in 1699 in Dursley, and Elizabeth was buried 2 October 1671 in Dursley. Samuell and Elizabeth had the following child:
 

1. Elizabeth, christened 6 February 1665 in Dursley.

Samuel then had the following children with an unknown wife:

2. John, christened 24 August 1673 in Dursley.

3. Sam, christened 7 February 1677 in Dursley.

4. Ann, christened 16 January 1681 in Dursley.

5. (Female), christened 30 January 1684 in Dursley.

John Stockwell was born in about 1600 of Dursley. He was buried in March 1669 in Dursley. John had the following children:
 

1. Anna, christened 31 January 1623 in Dursley.
