Robert Butler was christened 6 May 1609 in Appleton, Berkshire, the
son of John and Dorothee Butler. He married Anne Shawe 20 December
1630 in Appleton with Eaton. Anne was christened 6 October 1614 in
Appleton, the daugher of William Shawe.
Anne died, and Robert married 2) Catherine in about 1646 in
Appleton. Catherine died and was buried 29 July 1651, the same day
her youngest child was born.

*1. Jane, christened 30 November 1634 in Appleton; married
Richard Dodwell 12 November 1660 in Oxford St. Giles, Oxfordshire;
buried 27 August 1719 in Appleton.
Robert and Catherine had the following children:
2. Mary, christened 12 April 1647 in Appleton.
3. Francis, (twin female) christened 25 June 1650 in
Appleton.
4. Katherine (twin), christened 25 June 1650 in Appleton.
5. William, christened 29 July 1651 in Appleton.

John Butler was born in about 1580 of Appleton. He married Dorothee.
Dorothee died and was buried 20 September 1610 in Appleton. John
married again to Elizabeth Whitehorne 22 October 1612 in Appleton.
John died and was buried 29 September 1635 in Appleton.
John and Dorothee had the following children:
1. Alice, christened 29 May 1603 in Appleton.
2. William, christened 30 October 1605 in Appleton.
3. John, christened 8 November 1607 in Appleton; buried 13
February 1609 in Appleton.
*4. Robert, christened 6 May 1609 in Appleton.
John and Elizabeth had the following children:
5. Anne, christened7 September 1613; married Edward Harris 4
June 1632 in Appleton.
