Edward Theobald was christened 3 July 1682 in Wilne, the son of Richard and Elizabeth Theobald. He married Sarah.
 

Wilne, or Church Wilne is a tiny village located next to the River Derwent. It is about 2 miles south of Draycott. The name Wilne means "a clearing in the willows". Draycott means dry cote, or dry place, and was originally inhabited by people escaping the flooding at Wilne. Draycott marketplace was the changing point for coalcart donkeys, known as "neddies", bringing coal to the river from mines to the north. Local people are still sometimes called "neddies". Richard Theobald was born in about 1651 of Wilne, the son of Richard and Margaret Theobald. He married Elizabeth, and they had the following children:
 

1. Edward, christened 12 March 1677 in Draycott, Wilne; buried 3 August 1678.
 

2. Samuel, christened 28 August 1679 in Wilne; buried 20 April 1683.
 

3. Edward, christened 3 July 1682 in Wilne; married Sarah in about 1703.
 

4. Elizabeth, christened 17 April 1684 in Wilne.
 

5. William christened 11 July 1687 in Wilne.
 

6. Sarah, christened 3 May 1690 in Wilne.

Richard Theobald was christened 26 December 1610 in Wilne, the son of Baptist Tebbold and Agnes Storer. He had the following child:

Baptist Tebbold was christened 23 June 1581 in Wilne, the son of William Tebbold and Joane Dickons. He married Agnes Storer 20 Feburary 1603 in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire. Stapleford is only a few miles away from Wilne. (One IGI record shows Agnes as "Agnes Rowe".) Baptist was buried 18 June 1655 in Wilne. Baptist and Agnes had the following children:
 

1. Ann, christened 2 March 1606 in Wilne; buried 18 October 1621.
 

2. Baptist, christened 15 May 1608 in Wilne.
 

3. Richard, christened 26 December 1610 in Wilne; married Margaret.
 

4. Luke, christened 20 February 1612 in Wilne; buried 15 April 1684 in Wilne.

William Tebbold was born in about 1550 of Wilne. He married Joane Dickons 29 November 1572 in Wilne. Joane was christened 28 August 1551 in Wilne, the daughter of Thomas Dickons and Jone Hallum. William and Joane had the following children:
 

1. John, born in about 1573 of Draycott, Wilne; buried 18 August 1574.
 

2. Anne, christened 15 April 1575 in Wilne.
 

3. (Female), christened 14 April 1578 in Wilne.
 

4. Baptist, christened 23 June 1581 in Wilne; married Agnes Storer 20 February 1603 in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire; buried 18 June 1655 in Wilne.
